My Wardrobe : Backless Leopard Dress
This is a little sneak peek into my wardrobe. I have had this backless leopard dress in my wardrobe since the start of summer, but I am only now finally getting around to sharing it with you all. If you follow me on my Instagram then you have already seen this dress a few times. I wore it on my summer holidays and it was perfect for the warmer months. This dress can also be a transitional piece into the fall if you layer it with a jumper or a leather jacket.
Full-on leopard print can sometimes be a bit over the top, but I loved this dress from the minute I saw it. It is a softer, khaki-based alternative to the classic leopard print, which makes it much easier to wear. This dress is a perfect balance between formal and casual and it can easily transition from day to night. An easy way to transition this dress into an evening look would be to put on some black heels and throw on a leather jacket.
The cut is super feminine, but the print is quite edgy, so it’s easy to wear for any occasion. The cut is extremely flattering: it has a wrap-around feel to it and cinches in at the waistline to give the illusion of feminine curves. The dress is meant to be a midi-length but there are cropped lining underneath and a slit up the side. The skirt itself is sheer and shows just enough leg to give it a sexy touch. As this dress is backless I usually like wearing a lacy bra with it to show off the open back, but for the pictures, I went without a bra.
