After living in West London for 18 months now I have become a bit of a West London snob. I almost never make it past Soho and the furthest East I go is Liverpool Street. Now with that being said, last Friday I made it all the way to E15, or more commonly known as Stratford. Now I normally wouldn’t venture out that far from my Chelsea bubble, but I was invited to an influencer event hosted by Adwaiz at Pitch Stratford for a Friday night filled with food, drinks, music, and London influencers and Instagrammers.
Not knowing too much about Stratford, I made the trek across town. Basically, Pitch Stratford is a retro summer terrace with outdoor seating, street food, and a bar. The food includes The Piadina Project, Gyoza Guys, Kalimera and Tico’s. The bar is fully stocked, but their best drinks include the Pimms, spritzes, and Camden Brewery cider. This part of Stratford is really up and coming and it is brand new. It is super easy to get to, just minutes walk from the Stratford station and it is an awesome reminder of the 80s and 90s with geometric shapes and seating areas.
The food offering here was amazing, but my favorite had to be The Gyoza Guys, serving up Japanese-inspired dumplings. Their tagline is #nosharing and it couldn’t be truer. I had 5 different plates of dumplings and wow, just WOW. Honestly the best dumplings I have had in London. The other food options include Kalimera which is a modern take on Greek dishes and Tico’s Hotdogs, serving huge American style hot dogs but with a Brazilian twist.
All in all Pitch Stratford is such a cool and trendy place to hang out and it was awesome to explore a new part of London. If you want a cool place to chill after work or on the weekend, this is definitely someplace to check out!
