Puppy Cupcakes Recipe | Happy Birthday Zizi!

Happy 4th Birthday to Zizi, my little princess. This little puppy has brought me so much laughter and joy over the last 4 years. She has also been through so much with me. She has moved to 2 different countries and 3 different cities with me. Not to mention she has traveled across a few continents and countries with me as well. She may look tiny, which she is, but she is one tough little pup and she brings a smile to my face every single day. Everyone that has ever met Zizi will say the same, she is super social, loves cuddles, and playing with her favorite toy, the dice. So on her special day, I decided to make her puppy cupcakes

Today is her 4th birthday. I am not much of a baker but since it was a special occasion I did some googling and found a great little recipe for puppy cupcakes. I made these puppy cupcakes exclusively for her but they can be consumed by humans as well. I didn’t want to make too many so the recipe I found made 8, which is still a lot for her and she will be enjoying them for the next week or so. I also did a little research and wanted to make sure these cupcakes were relatively healthy. I came up with the recipe below.

Peanut butter

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees celsius line the cupcake tins with paper cases. Mix all the ingredients listed above in a bowl and distribute it evenly into the cupcake cases. Bake for 15min and when you take them out of the oven the should be a golden brown. Make sure you let them cool before you put on the peanut butter icing. I just used a spoon to spread on the peanut butter, but if you wanted them to look a bit more presentable you could use a piping bag, but I didn’t have one at hand. Once you are done taking pictures of everything. Serve them to your dog and let them enjoy. You can even take a bite yourself. 🙂
