2. Travel opens your eyes – If you’re open and willing, travel will make you a well-rounded human being. And I am not sure about you, but that is the ultimate goal, right? Check out my tips and places I have been in my previous travel posts.
3. Traveling helps you learn who you are – When you put yourself in a place where you are not comfortable, this is where you will grow the most. All the challenges and opportunities travel lays at your feet help you discover who you are. You learn how to act in a different culture, you learn which foods you really enjoy, you learn how to interact with people that have different beliefs than you. All of these things help you understand who you really are.
4. Traveling gives you perspective – Meeting people from other parts of the world and different cultures will teach you that the way you look at the world isn’t the only way. Not everyone sees the world the way you do. Your point of view might have some serious blind spots and until you see the world for yourself you will not learn this. When you travel it will improve your vision of the world and get to grips with reality.
5. Travel is education – Of all the books in the world, the best stories are found between the pages of a passport. The world is a classroom and you should make every effort to attend as many classes as possible. I highly encourage you to save up a little every month and put that money towards traveling to new places and learning new things.I save money so I can spend it on collecting countries, not things.Seeing the world provides an education that is impossible to get in school. Travel teaches you economic, politics, history, geography, history, and sociology in an intense and hands-on way that no class will ever do. Luckily travel doesn’t require an application or entrance exam, just book a flight and give it this class a go!
