Hello Internet!
Today I am bringing you my Ivy Park activewear outfit. For those of you that do not know, Ivy Park is an Activewear line created by none other than Queen B herself. Beyonce partnered up with Topshop to release her athleisure line on April 14th. I couldn’t get my hands on anything until May because everything was sold out, both in store and online. I had these pieces in my closet for a few months now, but I wanted to wait a few months to write this blog post so that I could give you guys a fair shot of finding these items online or in-store. The athleisure trend has become quite popular in recent years and the Ivy Park message encourages health, fitness, and female empowerment. The line encourages women to not only wear these fashionable pieces to the gym, but in all aspects of life. I absolutely love that Beyonce is portraying a body-positive collections with hundreds of different pieces. Now I must admit when I saw some of these pieces I thought they were a bit too Beyonce for me and there was no way I was going to wear a bodysuit or crop top to workout, but I do appreciate that the leggings, sports bars and t-shirts all fit my style and budget. Also not to mention the price point did not break my bank.
In this outfit I purchases leggings, a sports bra, and a t-shirt. I have to say I am quite impressed by all three. The leggings are a cotton blend and they are quite durable. I did the squat test in the fitting room and you definitely cannot see through these leggings. The sports bra is great as well. I love the Ivy Park branding across the front and it gives me just the right amount of support mixed with great style. Finally, the t-shirt is one of my favorite shirts to wear. It is so soft and comfortable and not matter how many times I wash it the shirt is still so soft!
Overall I would recommend anyone and everyone to swing by your local Topshop or visit their online shop and check out the Ivy Park line. Like I said before it is great quality and I love that you get what you pay for. The line isn’t the cheapest activewear on the market, but I think it is a well priced line for what you get.
