One of my favorite burger joints in London, Shake Shack, have come out with their highly anticipated Gochujang Chick’n menu. It was initially only available at outlets in South Korea, the special spicy-sweet menu has now made its way to London and you’ll be able to order all the special dishes throughout summer. But hurry as this menu is only around until September 30th.
Gochujang Sauce
What makes this menu special is Shake Shack’s new Gochujang sauce. It is made with red chilli peppers, sticky rice, fermented soybeans, and salt, gochujang is a punchy flavor-packed fermented paste that’s the key ingredient in Shake Shack’s new gochujang glaze, which also includes finely chopped garlic and ginger for an extra kick.

So what’s on this special menu that everyone is so excited about? Well, there’s the Gochujang Chick’n burger, a glazed crispy chicken breast topped with toasted sesame seeds with added kimchi slaw. Then there’s Gochujang Chick’n Bites – in boxes of six or 10 – with a gochujang mayo dipping sauce and finally, the Gochujang Fries, which are the house crinkle cut chips with more gochujang mayo. They have also added two new drinks to their menu as well. No Shake Shack burger is complete without a milkshake which is why the Matcha cookies and cream shake is a must-try! If you love Matcha you will love this shake, it is not too sweet and just the perfect balance of matcha and cream. It’s made from matcha, vanilla cookies, vanilla frozen custard, and topped with crushed cookies! But if you aren’t a matcha fan, there is still another delicious drink on the menu as well which is the mango passion fruit lemonade. It’s a classic Shack-made lemonade blended with Mango Passionfruit puree
