Back at it with another review of a restaurant that is out of my normal travel zones in London. Before being invited to Acoustic Brasserie I was not even sure where Newington Green was in London. Not only was I pleasantly surprised by the neighborhood, I was also pleased with the food served at Acoustic Brasserie. The Mediterranean-inspired menu at Acoustic Brasserie has something for everyone. I went in for Saturday Brunch and due to the beautiful and rare sunny weather, London was having the cafe was packed with brunch lovers.

Acoustic Brasserie takes brunch as seriously as other cafes in London, but they put a bit of Mediterranean twist on things. You can enjoy anything from eggs benedict to a full English breakfast, to Turkish eggs! I absolutely loved this place despite the service being a bit spotty. If you are hungry then this is the cafe for you. The portions are huge, with a lot of vegetarian options. Also, everything was very reasonably priced. I had the Turkish eggs which were something new for me. Turkish eggs are poached eggs with garlic yogurt drizzled on top, seasoned with burnt paprika and mint butter. All of which is served on top of home-style potatoes. It was absolutely delicious! I also tried out the berry classic pancakes, even though these pancakes were fully and flavorful, I would opt for more Mediterranean dishes when trying out Acoustic Brasserie.
