After living in West London for 18 months now I have become a bit of a West London snob. I almost never make it past Soho and the furthest East I go is Liverpool Street. Now with that being said, last Friday I made it all the way to E15, or more commonly known as Stratford. Typically, I wouldn’t venture out that far from my Chelsea bubble for a night out. I was invited to an influencer event hosted by Adwaiz at Pitch Stratford for a Friday night filled with street food, drinks, music, and London influencers and Instagrammers.

Not knowing too much about Stratford, I made the trek across town. I was blown away by the aesthetic; a retro summer terrace with outdoor seating, street food, and a bar. It is an awesome reminder of the 80s and 90s with geometric shapes and seating areas. The food includes The Piadina Project, Gyoza Guys, Kalimera and Tico’s. The lively bars serve a great selection of drinks including Pimms, spritzes, and Camden Brewery cider. This part of Stratford is really up and coming and it is brand new. It is super easy to get to, just a few minutes walk from Stratford station.

The food offering here is affordable and delicious. I was drawn by the Gyoza Guys’ offering of Japanese-inspired dumplings. Their tagline is #nosharing and it couldn’t be truer. I shamelessly had 5 different plates of dumplings and wow, just WOW! Easily the best dumplings I have had in London. However, if dumplings arent your thing, other food options include Kalimera; a modern take on traditional Greek dishes and Tico’s Hotdogs; serving huge American style hot dogs with a Brazilian twist.

Lastly, Pitch Stratford is such a cool and trendy place to hang out and I really enjoyed exploring a new part of London. If you want a cool place to chill after work or on the weekend, this is definitely someplace to check out!
